The Forge is the envisioned cornerstone of Second Mission Shield. It is our flagship facility where veterans strengthen their minds, bodies, and sense of community. The space is intentionally divided into two essential halves.
One half is dedicated to mental resilience. This side hosts peer support groups, guided workshops, and personal development programming. It is where veterans build skills that support recovery, stability, and long term growth.
The other half is focused on physical wellness. This area includes fitness space, recovery-focused movement, and guided activities designed to support both physical health and mental regulation. Together, these spaces allow veterans to rebuild strength in a balanced and sustainable way.
The Forge is more than a facility. It serves as the headquarters and operational home of Second Mission Shield. It will host workshops, community gatherings, and mission-driven events.
Most importantly, it is a safe and grounding space where veterans can reconnect, rebuild, and move forward with purpose.
The Forge represents the ultimate goal of Second Mission Shield. It brings together recovery, maintenance, and community under one roof. Strength is built here, shield by shield.

Mental wellness: workshops, support groups, and personal development.

Physical wellness: fitness space, recovery-focused movement, physical health and mental regulation.
