Veteran Family & Support Services is Second Mission Shield’s family support program, designed to help veterans and their loved ones rebuild stability, connection, and resilience together.

Why It Matters

Recovery does not happen in isolation. When families are supported, veterans are more likely to sustain recovery, rebuild trust, and move forward with stability. VFSS focuses on strengthening the family unit so no one carries the weight alone.

What This Program Does

Provides family centered support activities and workshops
Creates safe spaces for connection, communication, and healing
Uses creative and experiential activities to support expression and bonding

Helps families understand recovery, stress, and reintegration together
Reinforces stability at home to support long term progress

Who It’s For

Veteran Family & Support Services serves veterans, spouses, partners, children, and families who want support navigating recovery, reintegration, and life after service in a structured, non clinical environment.
